Getting to Holbox

From Cancún, take the road “Libre” to Merida and pass through a town called Leona Vicario. After 15 km, you’ll get to a cross called “Nuevo Valladolid”, where you have to turn right. You will pass two small villages, until you get to a T turn.
Turn right, to Kantunilkin. From Kantunilkin, you have to continue another 25 miles towards Chiquilá. Once there, find a parking lot for your car and walk to the port to take the ferry. When you get to the island, you can either walk or take a taxi to your hotel.
From Cancún’s “terminal centro”, you have to take a bus to Chiquilá. Ask at Mayab’s post. There are buses at 7:45 am, 10:30 am and 12:45 pm, but we recommend you confirm these times in advance as they are subject to change.
Once in Chiquilá, aproximately three and a half hours later, you have to take the ferry that will take you to Holbox. When you get to the island, you can either walk or take a taxi to your hotel.
